Sometimes it’s the little things that make you stand out as a professional photographer. The Hildozine Transceiver Caddy V3 was designed specifically for the Plus IIIe and PlusX radios. Instead of using clumsy gaffer’s tape, bungee cords, hook and loop fasteners, or even hair bands, the Caddy V3 will keep your PocketWizards securely connected instead of flying around with every move you make. The Caddy V3 is invaluable for photographers on the move and on location to keep their radios safe. The Caddy V3 safely and securely connects your PocketWizard to light stands, tripods, and speedlights. Use the thumb screw to connect the back plate to your radio then use the bungee cable to wrap the unit around your light stand or flash.

  • Quick and easy to attach or remove
  • Practically Weightless
  • Eliminate messy hook and loop connections
  • Makes your flash and PocketWizard a single unit that can be held in one hand
  • Rock solid mounting to your light stand
  • The groove in the base plate aligns to your light stand, keeping the PW antenna pointing vertically
  • Eliminate the swinging PocketWizard when you move your lightstand! Provides secure mounting to a lightstand or tripod, instead of simply hanging the unit with the lanyard

Simple and secure!

The AC5 RF Soft Shield is a simple solution to reduce interference and improve performance of the FlexTT5 or FlexTT6 Transceiver.  Special RF fabric and a shoe filter shields the FlexTT5/FlexTT6 Transceiver from RF noise emitted by some Canon Speedlites (580EX II, 580EX and 430EX).  Other Canon flashes, including the 600EX-RT, emit relatively low EMI and work well with the FlexTT5/FlexTT6 without shielding.  The AC5 allows easy access to all flash controls as well as a full range of flash positions.  The AC5 can either be stored on the flash or it can be removed and rolled up making it easily storable in your camera bag.  Its portability makes it an attractive RF noise solution.  The AC5 RF Soft Shield can be used when using a high-power external battery.

The AC5 is for use with receiving flashes only and is not for use with your on-camera flash.

NOTE: The AC5 is not designed for horizontal use on a boom mount or light pole; for these situations please see the AC7 RF Hard Shield.  The AC7 is also the perfect solution for use with an umbrella with its centered umbrella mount.

For more details about the AC5, check our PocketWizard Wiki.

Do you often shoot in multi user environments? PocketWizard has created a solution to keep you from accidentally tripping another  photographer’s equipment – or from having them trip yours.

In crowded shooting environments, the number of available Channels may be limited but now you can install a PocketWizard Custom ID on your PocketWizard radios. With a Custom ID, your radio will be using a unique frequency, specifically assigned to you and your radios, allowing only you to trigger your remote flash or camera.

Custom IDs give you the confidence to know that your remote flash or camera can only be triggered by you and not any other photographer.  It is not a “private frequency.”  It is an exclusive code installed on top of an existing PocketWizard frequency.

Custom IDs can be installed on MultiMAX (usb version), MultiMAX II, Plus III, Plus IV, FlexTT5, and Canon FlexTT6 radios. The installation is performed only at PocketWizard’s home office (LPA Design) in Vermont. LPA Design maintains a database of Custom ID holders. Only you can get your Custom ID on future radios. You can order a new radio directly from us and we can add a Custom ID before shipping. Or if you would like to add a Custom ID to an existing radio, you can ship the unit to us for Custom ID installation.

Please note: you need at least 2 radios with Custom IDs and all radios that you want to work together must have the same Custom ID installed. For more information about Custom IDs, please see our wiki page here or contact us.

Every product emits some RF interference. In a particularly noisy environment or when using a camera or flash that emits a large amount of RF interference, a remote PocketWizard might have a hard time “hearing” the incoming trigger signal. By adding a ferrite choke to your sync cable, you can help reduce RF interference for better performance. Simply snap the choke onto your cable near your flash. If there seems to be quite a lot of interference, wrap the cable around the choke or add a second one.

Ferrite cores block low-frequency noise and absorb high-frequency noise. This helps suppress electromagnetic emissions and avoids electromagnetic interference.

The PocketWizard Pedal enables you to trigger a remote camera with the push of your foot, allowing you to be free from any handheld device. Designed for use with most PocketWizard radios*.

The PocketWizard Pedal is an indispensable and multipurpose tool for the professional or hobbyist photographer no matter what type of photography you enjoy. When used with PocketWizard radios, the PocketWizard Pedal allows you to control more than one camera and only fire the remote camera when the moment is right with a simple push of the pedal. If you feel like you could use another set of hands when capturing a photo, you need the PocketWizard Pedal.

Great for any type of photography:

Sports Photography: When you don’t need your remote synced with your main camera for every single shot, you can use the foot pedal to fire the remote only when the action is near your remote camera. Have more than one pedal to fire more than one remote camera – for example one at each goal in a soccer match.

Portrait Photography: Use your hands to engage or distract your clients – especially good for small children or pets. Your hands are also free to hold reflectors or light sources.

Event Photography: Use the PocketWizard Pedal as the camera trigger in a “photobooth” for guests to capture their own fun party shots.

Street Photography: Fire your camera inconspicuously from a distance.

Family Photos and Selfies: The PocketWizard Pedal is a great tool for taking photos when you want to get in the shot and trigger the camera remotely. Imagine getting in that family photo for once!

How to use:

Connect miniphone end to any transmitting PocketWizard radio. (Note: Elevate the transmitting radio at least 6-12 inches off the ground. Use a tripod or light stand for best results.) Use a second PocketWizard radio as a receiver connected to your remote camera with a remote camera cable. The remote camera will fire every time you press the pedal.

  • HANDS-FREE USE: You can fire your remote camera with the push of your foot leaving your hands free. You now have the freedom to use another hand-held camera, hold a light, distract your subject, or get in the photo.
  • PROFESSIONAL GRADE: We’ve carefully designed this cable with the professional photographer in mind with features including metal foot plate with a rubber tread, a sturdy cable, strain reliefs, and gold-plated connections for supreme transmission reliability ensuring you never miss a shot.
  • SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT: This portable device easily packs away into the corner of your photography kit.
  • MULTIPURPOSE VERSATILITY: With so many ways to use the PocketWizard Pedal for creative photography, you will reach for this indispensable tool again and again.
  • HIGH QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: Warranted for one year from the date of purchase to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

PocketWizard compatibility:

  • The PocketWizard Pedal is fully compatible with all Plus and MultiMAX radios.
NOTE: if you are using a Plus II as a transmitter, the radio will only send out a single trigger at a time. If you want continuous triggering from the pedal, use a different radio as a transmitter. A Plus II can still receive continuous triggers.
  • The FlexTT5 and FlexTT6 radios can only be triggered by the hot shoe. To use the pedal, you will need a hot shoe adapter with a miniphone port and you’ll need to set the radio to Basic Trigger mode. If you have questions, please contact us.

Details:
Pedal size: 4″ x 2.75″ x 1′
Cable length: approx 6′ (2 meters)

There are many sources of external RF noise that can impact a remote PocketWizard’s ability to hear an incoming signal. With an MB4, you can connect your PocketWizard to a super clamp and place it away from potential noise sources, such as the metal in catwalks.

The MB4 is a non-metallic mounting bar to help isolate a remote radio from metal light stands and other mounting options that may affect RF performance. Connect the female 1/4-20 thread mount  to Manfrotto Super Clamps to place your radio in the best position possible. If the environment is especially RF noisy, you can screw 2 MB4s together to create an 8″ bar.

From 1/4-20 male (or female 1/4-20 mounting plate) to Manfrotto super clamp stud adapter
Length: 4″ (10 cm) (Multiple bars can be easily connected to achieve greater lengths.)

Includes Velcro® strips for mounting.
