You can install the part yourself if you’re comfortable with minor repairs, take a look at the video below for details. Once you take the back off, take out the screw holding the board to the case. Lift the board out of the front case. Gently but firmly press the reinforcement into place on the board and use the new (included) longer screw to hold it to the board. Reinsert the board back into the front case. Replace the back cover, reinstall the two screws, and you’re as good as new!

One note: There is a metal hinge pin for the door that can slip down. If you are having a hard time snapping the unit back together, slide the hinge pin all the way up then try again.
