Description
Every product emits some RF interference. In a particularly noisy environment or when using a camera or flash that emits a large amount of RF interference, a remote PocketWizard might have a hard time “hearing” the incoming trigger signal. By adding a ferrite choke to your sync cable, you can help reduce RF interference for better performance. Simply snap the choke onto your cable near your flash. If there seems to be quite a lot of interference, wrap the cable around the choke or add a second one.
Ferrite cores block low-frequency noise and absorb high-frequency noise. This helps suppress electromagnetic emissions and avoids electromagnetic interference.
